Strategic Partnerships Manager

The Strategic Partnerships Manager is an exciting new position for an experienced, hands-on, execution-oriented professional. The core mission will be to conceptualize, execute and develop strategic partnerships with established public safety leaders, government associations and leading govtech resellers & vendors that will accelerate innovation and revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue initiatives by sourcing new partners and executing exciting partnership solutions.
  • Negotiate attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing partners to explore new opportunities.
  • Lead customized complex negotiation and manage partnership agreements with resellers across North America.
  • Collaborate on in-field tradeshows, networking and experiential marketing events.
  • Develop metrics to measure ROI from partnerships.

HOW WILL SUCCESS BE MEASURED?

  • Number of new partner agreements signed.
  • Leads generated by ecosystem partners (EQL’s).
  • Partner sourced & partner influenced revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8 – 10+ years of experience in technology fields, with a substantial portion in sales, marketing, business development or partnership roles
  • 3+ years in alliance or partnership roles
  • Strong knowledge of the govtech and/or public safety industry

SKILLS

  • You have prior experience in a similar role and a strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships.
  • You have experience working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions.
  • You are highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver.
  • You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • You demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (eg. Salesforce) would be a plus
