How did Tigard Police Department automate their scheduling?
For years Tigard had been managing their scheduling using multiple spreadsheets and paper request slips. “I can’t count the number of hours that we used to spend calling, emailing and following up with employees in regards to shift postings and requests,” says Lt. David Frisendahl. Tigard’s employee management and communication were painfully inefficient. They finally had enough and implemented InTime to automate these manual processes.

Because scheduling wasn’t an automated process, activity and leave requests were submitted on paper. You can probably imagine the chaos involved with organizing and responding to an entire department’s requests. The challenge doesn’t stop there; posting shifts, overtime and schedules were all on paper as well.
